I'm a sort of Swiss, sort of expat 20-something living near Zürich with my American husband and fluffy kitty Schoggi. I made this cake for a little boy's second birthday, using chocolate cake layers, vanilla buttercream, a whole lot of homemade marshmallow fondant, white chocolate for the ladder, silver luster dust for the metallic effect, and the interwebz for inspiration.
